Origin and Purpose of Our Website
We wanted a place on the web where people who provide care and services for children and families in need could come to and find training and other services that would enhance their opportunities to grow professionally. We gathered together many of the agencies working in these fields in Southern Ohio and Northern Kentucky to form a Consortium that meets your training needs at a very reasonable cost. This web-site provides ongoing information about trainings being offered by the Training Consortium as well as some offered by affiliate agencies.

All of our trainings gain certificates for continuing education hours or training hours toward maintenance of certification in the various social work disciplines.
Our clients include elementary through high school and day care teachers, social workers, counselors, criminal justice workers, and foster parents. | |

Child Care Providers
A child care provider is a person who supports a family, child or children beginning at birth and all the way up to early youth ages. This support can be provided in as many different ways as there are individual or family needs necessary for healthy development. The child care provider comes to SW Ohio Regional Training Consortium to receive the most well rounded and tailored training available in the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentuky area.

Youth Care Providers
A youth care provider is a person who supports a family or young person between the ages of 12 and adult. This support can be provided in as many different ways as there are individual or family needs necessary for the young person to launch successfully out into adulthood. The youth care provider comes to SW Ohio Regional Training Consortium to receive the most well rounded and tailored training available in the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area.

Child Caring Agencies
Our child care agencies have come together to help make a difference in the level of training that child and youth care providers have available to them in one place at the lowest possible price. We have assembled some excellent trainers to train in all areas of child and youth care.
