RETRIEVER TRAINING CLUB 

SWORTC Club members get together frequently to train. There are two basic disciplines that our members are involved with; Field Trials and Hunt Tests. Both of these disciplines have two basic elements which are MARKING and the BLIND RETRIEVE, and they incorporate these two elements on both land and water.

 

Also very important in your Retriever training regime are things like Puppy Training, Socialization, Obedience, Structure training and the Trained Retrieve. A well thought out progression of training for your Retriever, will invariably get you a lifetime of wonderful memories.

The first training clinic that we are holding this year is a day for all Club members to enjoy learning or teaching Retriever training for Field Trials and Hunt Tests, in a seminar and demonstration casual format.
